This is the second year we have attended this event, and we have enjoyed it so much each time that we now feel it will become an annual ritual for us!

There were a few vehicles from last year making a re-appearance, but there were also quite a few new faces! This is a two day event held in the grounds next to Heskin Hall in Chorley, and as well as the steam rally, you can also pop along to the Farmer's Market and take a browse around the shops and businesses offering local produce, along with an arts and crafts centre!

At £5.00 per adult, £13.00 for a family ticket and £3.00 for Senior Citizens, the entry fee is more than reasonable, and is well worth paying if it will assist in keeping this event running into what will be it's 23rd year (next year).

We hope you will enjoy taking a look at some photographs from our day spent there! These pictures in no way reflect the total number of vehicles, businesses and general public that attended - the place was pretty packed! Thank goodness, we had fantastic weather once again!

I hope you will consider taking a look next year! Disabled parking is available at both the show ground and the craft centre!

  1. Great photos of a great event, we were playing in the beer tent on Sunday afternoon for Rainbow House and had a great time. Ian (Two Notes)

    1. Thanks for your comment Ian! We didn't get to the beer tent but we could hear the music from outside! Fair play to you for supporting such a worthy cause! Everything about the day was great and we can't wait for next year!
